Kindle DX Sold Out!

Its only been six days since the Amazon Kindle DX release…and already it’s  sold out!

Either they didn’t make enough or there is a huge demand.  Whatever the reason, It’s really hard to tell  without the numbers.

In any case, if you order the device today,  you will have to wait until June 22 for shipment. Add another couple days and you should get it in a week.

That’s not  bad compare to Kindle1 back in November 2007. The wait time was much longer…yet faithful followers were willing to join the line and wait regardless of time.

Oh how times have changed!

Are you a Kindle DX enthusiast?…or a potential early adopter? If you are, then you will need to join the line now! If you don’t, t you could be waiting for a while.

Until next time.

Kindle DX Ships Today!

What’s the 2nd most popular gadget at Amazon? If you say Amazon Kindle DX, …cheers!!! you are right!

So if that’s #2, what #1? You guess right again! the Amazon Kindle2…see for yourself

Wow! what a week it has been!

First Palm shipped the Pre, then Apple unveiled the iPhone 3GS, and now Amazon ships the Kindle DX.

$489 is quite a bit of cash for many, especially in these hard times.  But, Kindle DX is too tempting, to ignore.

Even if its out of sheer curiosity, you’ve got to get one.  After all,  how else can you stay in the game?

Bottom line…stay in the game or get left in the dust! Who wants to be the one? Not me.

It’s almost mind blowing sometimes to see the rate at which these guys are churning out these devices.  As soon as you buy one, it becomes  “obsolete” in no time.

Who would’ve thought that Kindle1 would be forgotten hero?  I still remember the day it came out. Now less than 3 years later, we have the DX.

I still have mine sitting in my desk drawer gathering dust. Someone offered to buy it the other day, but I declined…Nope! it’s not for sale!

Years from now when things are sailing ahead, I want to look back and say I had one of the 1st generation kindles.

That’s said, I am off to get my DX.  How else can I get that critical understanding and keep you posted? Only by getting one in my own hands.

That’s it for now!  If you do decide to get one, enjoy!  Let us  know how it turned out for you.

Kindle DX ships June 10

The long wait is almost over for the first Kindle DX to get into the hands of customers!

Since the announce of its arrival on May 6, many kindle customers joined the pre-order line to make sure that their beloved DX is delivered on their doorsteps on the 1oth of the month.

If you did not place your order before the June 5th, you will have to wait a little longer…and that wait time depends on where you are in line.

Meanwhile the number of books available at the Kindle store has risen to 300,000 and counting…another milestone for the Amazon Kindle which seems to be adding books at a merry clip lately.

…not to mention the fact that there are some textbooks available as well…therein lies one of the reason for the Kindle DX.

This is just me, but I think you can expect new features added to the DX soon to enhance the textbook experience.

That’s it for now, let us know your thoughts.
